Internet Chatrooms - The craze of the 90's comes full circle.
The words 'chat', 'IM', and 'messaging' have gone mainstream in recent years. From infancy to maturity at blazing speed, chatrooms are now a fundamental part of Internet culture and, more importantly, a fundamental part of the culture of our youth. From a ministry and fellowship standpoint, this is an AWESOME opportunity. This opportunity however is not without it's share of risks. Additionally, the risks do not belong solely to our youth. Many of the problems surrounding Internet Chatrooms affect users of all age groups. In this first of a multi-part series, we'll examine chat, its up's and down's and what you can do to protect yourself and your loved ones.
