All Kerry Can Do is Complain - 4 Dec 2003

..."He now objects to the war. He objects to the legal steps we're taking. He objects to anything the president does to publicly connect himself with our troops in the field." That's conservative spokesman Gary Bauer's assessment of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry. Bauer says all Kerry can do is complain. "There's a pattern here," he says. "I'm not sure what it is our own government can do that will satisfy some of our own members of Congress." Kerry's latest criticism of the Bush Administration was seen in his recent call for the removal of Attorney General John Ashcroft. Kerry claims Ashcroft's anti-terrorism policies are trampling on individual freedoms and rights.
