...Pro-family advocate Gary Bauer says Hillary Clinton missed a great opportunity during her recent trip to Iraq. Bauer suggests the junior senator from New York should learn a lesson from President Bush's visit with American troops. "When President Bush went to Iraq, he raised morale," he says. "[But] Senator Clinton basically raised objections." The conservative leader says in that sense, Mrs. Clinton missed an opportunity to "appear presidential, if the Oval Office is what she eventually has her eye on." Though many Democrats are still trying to get Mrs. Clinton to consider running for the presidency next year, those closest to her indicate she would rather challenge in 2008. |
